Sharon L. Sweeney
Sharon Sweeney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Illinois State University in 1983. She taught high school at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. School for Exceptional Children / St. Coletta's of Illinois. After five years of teaching, Sharon was promoted to the position of School Administrator. Sharon earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola University of Chicago in 1989. She went on to teach in School District #102 in LaGrange, Illinois for more than 10 years. While teaching, Sharon attended John Marshall Law School at night and earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1993.
Sharon was admitted to the bar in November of 1993 and has been a sole practitioner for more than twenty years. She concentrates her practice around legal matters that concern families such as adoptions, family law, estate planning, probate and real estate. Sharon is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and actively pursues continuing legal education.
Sharon was born, raised and educated in the State of Illinois. She now lives in the western suburbs with her husband and son.
